Was brought to tears tonight.
I am very humbled and thankful tonight. My daughter and I got a christmas food hamper from the salvation army. I have no idea who put our name in, I got a call to come down that they had a hamper for me. I cried!!!!!!!
I am so very thankful to who ever it was.2012 Challenges

awwwww.....
It's truly amazing! I too received a call today and went down to a salvation army drop off to pick up items for my children... Truly amazed...They both received brand new winter coats...son received a fishing pole a set of clothes and a couple of other things... daughter received the coat set of pj's socks undies and a discovery toy and a scrapbooking item....and when i went in to pick it up there were tables of items....they said to take whatever i wanted off the tables as tonight was the last night and they would go back into storage....I coudln't bring myself to take anything else off the tables though because i was humbled enough by taking the other items someone had generously bought for us....it's amazing... I will tell the kids christmas morning where the items came from and we will make a plan next year to pick out a child next year to buy for...

That's so lovely. I think there is a great kindness in people, it's heartwarming when you see such examples of it.
Have a great Christmas

That is wonderful. Thank God for whoever did that for you.
Remember to "pay it forward" to whatever degree that you can, when you can. :-)

Thats wonderful and what a nice surprise!
My Dad use to use salvation army for food, years and years ago. He would have starved if not for them. Always pay it forward when you can. Merry Christmas!Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.
