    Default I thought my shopping was done.....

    I just called our local Children's Home to find out that there are 5 children residing there....they will be receiving tote bags with a couple of items in them for Christmas....to me, that is not enough for kids that have no-one.
    So, I am going to bundle up my three foster children ( we are in the proces of adopting them) and head out to the stores to buy gifts for those 5 children.
    I know there are a lot of families out there that are struggling to buy gifts for their kids, but at least they have each other...these kids have no-one and it breaks my heart. Material items are not going to take away the loss and hurt they are feeling, but I am hoping that at least they will be able to smile and know that someone does care about them and they are being thought of on Christmas morning.
