Down with the flu.
Guess that was something else those cranky shoppers gave me. I've been down since Monday. Feeling a little better today but still weak as water. My son and daughter have it now. Its awful. It just completely drains a person.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well, especially for the holidays. Try some miso soup to help settle your stomach. It has always helped me.

Thank you all for the hugs everyone. They are much appreciated. I'm doing better today. Kiddos seem to be a little better. Maybe by Christmas Day we'll all be doing better. Merry Christmas.

Such awful timing to be sick during the holidays. Glad to hear you are feeling better! (And to the sick shoppers who gave it to you....BAH! HUMBUG! Not cool to go out and give your colds and flu to everyone else!!)

I spoke to soon. Kiddos have been very sick today and now dh has it. I've been feeling better but my throat is getting sore again. We didn't have to go anywhere today so we've just laid around. I managed to fix a late breakfast and then supper. No one is eating much but I've cooked anyway. We had planned a simple Christmas anyway. This is the first Christmas we've been home in our 27 1/2 years of marriage. We always went to the inlaws. Fil passed away in June and dh's sis and mom in the previous 2 years. Dh only has 1 sis left and she has her own family. Its just been dh, myself and our 2. Maybe someday we'll have sil and dil and grands to enjoy Christmas with.
