    Anyone else heard of "Thrift Week" before? I just ran across the topic in a book I read...

    Didn't realize there was a "National Thrift Week" that used to be celebrated.

    Wow, I've never heard of it before. I can't imagine them teaching this at schools now. But imagine if they did!

    Sounds like a great idea to me. I think a lot of young people have no idea what thrift or frugality means.

    I think it would be a great idea! What a great lesson for young adults .....and some old ones too!
