What is up with the visitors to my blog?

Went in to edit one of my blogs today, and here were the visitors who had come by. (In fairness, daylily also stopped by, but that was the ONLY name I recognized.)

I didn't check them all, but most of them have no status and just joined FV within a day or so. Based on the user names, I don't expect that any of them joined out of a desire to be part of the "village." Looks like spammer names to me, except none of them seem to be spamming.

Is anyone else getting a lot of "phantom" traffic to their blogs?

Weird. I don't see any weird names in my blog. .. Hmmm. Whatcha been posting about lately. I'll have to look.

I haven't checked my other blogs to see if the same names appear, but I did check some other people's blogs, and the names are pretty normal. I try to look at all the blogs every couple of days, just to see what everybody is up to in private!!

Maybe you should post this on the Site Rules..Maybe Gabe could check the names out...time joined by clock etc..

I thought about putting it in the Help and Testing, but they don't seem to be doing anything malicious, just checking out my generally boring blog. Hmm...German stalker...I think I would have remembered an event that might have motivated that.

Maybe there's some combinations of letters on your blog that is a German word and it's coming up on a web search they've done?

Their names don't come up in Google..ours does..and bonnotsm9, writtenonmybody etc...but not them...nah, not them...that's all one person...bet they unscramble into a word/words..

I was getting that on facebook. Someone had gotten in and used my info to send out those kind of things. I changed my info and it stopped. This also happened in my one mail account I stopped using it.

Weird and funny!

Recently I remember someone here (oh I remember now, it was Sassyclass) pointed out that there were like 100+ names like those on your blog, and all were listed at the bottom of the forum as having birthdays that day. They were ALL turning 41! LOL!
