After 13 months of looking...2 job offers in 1 week!
OMG! I am so ecstatic right now. After a draining 13 months of looking for a full-time position in Chicago (after moving from Portland to be near my DBF and working as an independent contractor most of the time - but also on unemployment for some of the time) I have received two job offers in the past 3 days. I am so happy I don't even know what to do with myself. I know for sure which one I want and have accepted it already, now I need to turn down the other one and let them know I will no longer be contracting with them.
Such a happy day.
For anybody else out there who is looking for a job - I truly understand how emotionally draining it can be....and I just want to say - hang in there...keep up the search and I wish you the best of luck in your job search as well
