Squeal! DD's school gave her a Kindle!
She got called into the principal's office and couldn't figure out what she had done wrong. It turns out she had the highest reading scores in 6th grade (lexile) and someone donated a Kindle for them to give someone who would use it for reading the 'classics'. She is soooo excieted. (And so are the rest of us. Our chances of getting a Kindle were zip.) Just excited and stinking proud of her.
