I was in 3rd grade and we were watching it in class. Don't remember much beyond that but I know it was shocking and saddening and I remember thinking how sad I was that the teacher died.

My DS and I were at home watching it on tv, its something neither one of us will ever forget. It doesnt seem that long ago.

I was at home with a 3 yr old toddler and a 2 week old newborn. I was watching the liftoff because the teacher Crista McCauliffe that was on board was from our town of Greeley. We now have an elementary school that was named in her honor.

I was in first grade at the time and do not remember watching it on tv. I'm not sure if my class was watching it at the time or if we were outside for recess.

I was in Microbiology lab and someone told the class about it...can't remember if it was our professor or someone else.

I was a senior in HS and was in my poly sci/ govt class. We were watching it live on TV with a student teacher who was teaching the class. It was very sad, and I remember the entire class going silent. Its amazing how these things stick in your mind like it was yesterday.

We were stationed in Misawa, Japan, at the time. I remember watching it on TV and being absolutely shocked. I think it was even more shocking that it would have otherwise been because of the teacher who was selected to be part of the mission.
