enough snow already!!!

I HATE winter and have most of my adult life but in order to make myself feel better I remind myself how much I wanted to cry last year after I was buried in apples to cook and can, after having been previously buried the month before in tomatoes LOL I couldnt wait for winter then!

The tragic part of winter snow is the fatalities of people and animals unseen crossing streets, not to mention traffic accidents where drivers are blindsided trying to pull into oncoming traffic.

Boston has had 67 inches of snow this season, the third snowiest on record. I give up.

I'm in Iowa and right now we have just a dusting of snow. Forecast says the big stuff will come tomorrow. My friends in MO says they are being hammered right now with snow, ice, wind.... they are on their way to a storm of historic proportions, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

They are reporting lower amounts on different stations; soooooooooo we will see.

This isn't going to be a good groundhog's day! Be safe everyone that is in the path of the storm, my own family will be getting it also in Pa. I wish i could send some warm sunshine your way!!

We get a snow day tomorrow!!!! Super freezing temps and wind chills. Today we had ice and swirling snow that freezes all over the roads. SNOW DAY!! Without the Snow Accumulation! (yes I'm bragging 'cause I have no intention of going out of doors)
