I know this place is supposed to be anonymous...but I don't really care. I'm pretty proud of accomplishing what this site is helping me to do.

I love the Google view of your property. I may print one up of mine and pdf it, then add it to yours. You can see my little red truck and some of my goats in mine.

We could do a collaborative map for FV'ers. You wouldn't have to put your real name or exact location on it. It would be nice if someone said it was 10 below - where they (about) lived.

Something like -

FV'ers - Google Maps

There is a small learning curve

A. - you have to have a Google account to start with.
B. - after that you are on your own - maybe someone else will do the step-by-step. I can't since I made the map. But, I think that after the map is loaded and you log in, click "edit map" go to your location, click on the blue balloon thing at the top, then click where you want the balloon pointing.

We used to have an FV map feature. Not many used it.

Did you log in to your Google account? "EDIT" is a button to the left of the map.

yep - logged in - but the only things to the left are:

save to my maps
rate this map
write a comment (which doesn't let me edit the map)

Lee, I believe you need to click "collaborate" and then allow others to edit.

Don't give up sunshine...

goto maps.google.com
click on "My Maps"- give it a couple seconds to load
sign into your account
if "FV'ers" is not there, you didn't "Save to My Maps"

if it is there, the "edit" button should be there.
