I just realized that we don't actually do much to prepare for power outage. We do make sure things are charged, candles and flashlights are ready and we have plenty of clothes and blankets. We live in an apartment and rarely lose power and I hope it stays that way. We actually lose power in the summer more then anything. Thanks for some tips though. Keep safe everyone!

Well there was only about 7 or 8 inches of snow at my house . Which may sound like alot but considering what they predicted it wasn't bad. Dh snowplowed everything out when He got home from work yesterday. They were so determined to get in to work yesterday they sent him home in the giant company truck with a snowplow attached to it. He said he could never have made it if he wasn't in that truck. We never lost power thank goodness. The kids had school today much to their disappointment. They called school off for yesterday though before they even released on tuesday. I am glad we didn't need the emergency supplies but very grateful they were here .
