    FINALLY............and this probably doesn't even TOUCH the money they made from the SWINDLE!!

    Bank of America Settles Overdraft Suit

    Sad.........and this money covers 14 states.......that isn't much money after the lawyers take 1/3............but glad to see they finally got hit with something!!

    Thanks for this. They still do their transactions from largest to smallest however. I really hate that they do that because its annoying when I look online and have no idea what I got when; but then again, I should be writing it down better.

    I happen to like BofA NOW. I signed up after all this overdraft stuff went into action (where we are no longer charged with overdrafts).

    Unfortunately, a $410 million settlement is a drop in the bucket to them.

    Yeah because of all the money they made from their overdraft fee, haha. I have to admit there have been 2 banks in the past I had to close down because I went in the negative maybe $40 and with overdraft fees it escalated into over $500. Its crazy how they can trick the computer system into doing things like that. A lot of it is peoples fault to for not paying attention. If I would of kept a better budget I would of not been in that situation.

    Yep, that is what I figure too..........they probably made three to four times that with the fees...........or they wouldn't be so willing to settle!

    Thought Nikosan would enjoy this though...........and the guy that did it is from Florida. Haven't read what other states.........would like to know which 14 got in on it.
