You see real sticker shock when you go from one country to another. I went from being able to buy vegetables for 15 cents a can to almost $1.00 a can. Cereal in the US compared to cereal here is ridiculous too; it went from $.99 per box to $3.50 a box.

Now I only get sticker shock when I go from one grocery store to another.

Just got the sales folders in from Lidl (a sort of Aldi) with the new offers for this week and I will be going later not only for their offers but for other stuff too.

Washed carrots 2.2 lbs for $0.67 and a pineapple for $1.34 (won't be getting this - don't need it) and salmon 1 lb for $6.75 (really good price).

Was that quite awhile back you saw those US prices? The prices we are paying are right around the higher prices you listed. I'm in WI.

I just buy what’s on sale and plan my meals around it. Hope prices settle down soon.
