    Default Someone just messaged me this

    There has been an attack on a major oil refinery in Iraq and the whole place has been shut down. Speculative purchasing of oil on the stock market has sent the price of oil up by 10 % over the last week. Now with this new event oil will go up further. so top tip...Fill your tanks up asap as its going to get ...very pricey over the next few weeks.

    Very bad. gas was the same price today when I drove by ($3.36) but I imagine it will be on the rise.

    Thanks Polly, for the heads up will go fill ours up tonight.

    I find it slightly amusing how the United States consumes about 20 million barrels of oil a day.

    The Major oil refinery in question Iraq pumps out about 296,000 barrels a day .

    They will use any excuse to raise the price of oil. But don't worry my friends it will go down when the elected ones go on vacation in August....lol

    Gas here has been going up each day. I'm not liking it at all. Some people said it was going up to $1.40/L. Right now it's $1.15/L and that's high to me.
