    Two, ages 6 and 4.

    Married, 40 years old, two kids, Mechanical Engineering Degree, originally from Arkansas, country boy at heart, heavily involved in minor party politics.

    Do you own any pets?

    One cockatiel and a 75 gallon freshwater aquarium.

    Occupation?

    Training and Performance Consultant for Oil and Gas. I design training and qualification systems for operators, engineers, maintenance, etc and also write training manuals.

    Married or single?

    Married for 12 years and counting to the most wonderful lady in the world.

    Interests and hobbies?

    politics, woodworking, outdoor activities.

    Welcome. I'm sort of new here too. I was a shy lurker for a good year before I posted (now I'm sure some people wish I'd shut up LOL). I'm also in Texas, and I also have parrots and fish tanks. Good luck on your Dave Ramsey program. I followed Dave's program to debt freedom and really benefited from the steps (and I listen to his podcast each and every day). My sincere best.
    Totally debt free since January 2011.
    Fully funded Emergency Fund complete December 12, 2011! Yeah!
