This is one of the few things on my bucket list too.....I truly hope I'm lucky enough to see the Northern Lights one day.

Since we've moved here, it's done nothing but snow so I haven't seen them while up here. I saw them a couple of times when we lived in Calgary and they're beautiful.

I have always dreamed of seeing them. I live in southern california and i never thought i would be able to see them here. But wouldnt you know it one feb. years ago they were behind Mt Wilson (that is up in the mountains above pasadena) it was nice and clear, and where was i??? Sitting in my house, CLUELESS!!! Arggggggggggg!!!!! There is a towercam up on the mountain and they have some best of pictures and included are the northern lights shots.. I wouldve drove up in the mountains that night.
I ran my life into a ditch big time and i am tired of struggling, i need a change and i need it now.
Trying to change past behaviors so they are not the indicator of future behavior.
That is why i am here...

I remember seeing them when I was a child - very beautiful. Would love to see them again - nature provides so well for us!!

Woke up this morning and stepped outside the Owl River shack at 5:45 the sky was lit up, just as the sky was starting to lighten up. Fixing a friend's sled up here in Churchill this evening and could see them in the sky over the town lights. Pretty bright. No camera though (besides the point and shoot), so no pics of them.
Good trip so far, only -52 C with the wind heading up across the barrens...

I've only ever seen them once.....the night before my high school graduation. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of a great memory. I hear it is supposed to be a good year to see them. I'll be watching!
