    Depending where you are in the US, there is a time difference of between 6 and 9 hours. Sometimes around the changing of the time from summer to winter time, it can change to 5 and 8 hours but generally it is 6 to 9 hours difference.

    We have a moderate climate which can be compared with parts of the eastern seaboard. However we don't (normally) have extreme highs or extreme lows but can get everything in between. In my opinion it rains a LOT. Way too much for my liking.

    If you are curious about life in Holland, there is a thread which Jas created called 'those out of the US' and its here on the general chat forum (maybe on the 2nd or 3rd page by now). Some of the others living in Europe also wrote on it, so if you are interested there is LOT of info on that thread.
