Been with my sis in Baptist hospital.
..since Thursday in Nashville. We got home late yesterday. I don't think she would be here if we hadn't gotten her there. She was so frail. She has severe ulcerative colitis and was having a major flare up. We were afraid it had turned to cancer but thank the good Lord it hadn't. She's been loosing weight and just falling away to nothing. Her skin was yellow. I was so scared for her. Thankfully she was finally sent to the specialist there and had very good care. They were so good to her. I stayed with her the whole time.
Please keep her in your prayers. She's got a long ways from being well. She'll have to take meds the rest of her life.Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend..

So sorry to hear about your sister. It sounds like she is in good hands and getting the care she needs. I'll keep you both in my thoughts.

Prayers sent. Such a painful condition. Glad she has good care now, and a loving and loyal sister. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Am so glad that you were and are their for your sister. Sending prayers, hugs and aloha to all involved....so glad to hear that she is getting the care she needs to recover. Being on meds for the rest of her life is not bad - if it gives her the life. Please keep us posted.

Thank you everyone. Besides my husband and kids my sis is my very best friend in the world. I just can't stand seeing her so ill and in so much pain.
