12.00 service fee

Due to accounting screw ups my husbands employer has not made a direct deposit to our account in a month.
My bank only charges a service fee if you do not have direct deposits.
Today we got hit with a 12.00 fee and it's not even our fault.
Two paydays in a row they didn't even tell anyone there was a problem, did not tell anyone to come in and pick up a check. Just look at your account and see there is no money. This is a problem as all our bills are on automatic withdraw !

What if a person where out of town and expecting their paychecks to be there?
And no this is not a small company, It's a hospital..

I'd be contacting them and discuss with them about paying that fee and for bounced checks should you get them.

No bounced checks but yes I do believe they owe me.

They definitely owe you, since it was their error. They got a 30 day free loan of YOUR money.

PLUS They kept the interest they accrued off YOUR money...Yes, they DO owe you the $12.00 fee, -(due to their negligence)-, and any other fees you may get due to their error.

What a mess...........sorry to hear.

Hope you can get your money back.......and that they aren't
in deep enough financial trouble that it doesn't work out.

Sounds like some serious financial problems to me........I would
watch it REALLY CLOSELY!!
