I'm a german shepherd, which is kind of hysterical, as we're shepherd owners and our current shepherd is a spazzstic hyper thing (though she's just 1, and still very much a puppy still). I'm delighted- it's a very smart, alert, intelligent and loyal breed, over all.

The German Shepherd is a workaholic. Intent on business, this loyal breed is always on patrol. Suspicious of strangers, she defends her territory with a fierce reproach. When it comes to affection, she is tender and loving toward her pack and feels a deep responsibility for their well-being. Mental and physical exercise both appeal equally to the German Shepherd, and her intelligence is further enhanced by her dedicated nature. When it comes to dependability, the German Shepherd has the market cornered.

Huh, me too. Have not owned one but have met a few. I currently have a bloodhound that I'm in love with, I would describe her the same way as they describe a St. Bernard. Maybe that's why I'm so in love with her, I've found my personality match, ha!

Great, I'm a JRT!! One of those dogs you admire, but would never want to live in your home!!

This pint-sized explorer is the Magellan of the canine world. Always ready for adventure, the Jack Russell Terrier is known to wander off at a moment's notice. Her life is never dull, and entertainment is key. Accepting in nature, she makes friends easily and is usually the center of attention wherever she goes. Her high energy and upbeat personality make the Jack Russell Terrier a fun-loving part of any family.

    An Irish Wolfhound

An easygoing animal, Irish wolfhounds are quiet by nature.

Wolfhounds often create a strong bond with their family and can become quite destructive or morose if left alone for long periods of time. Despite the need for their own people, wolfhounds generally are somewhat stand-offish with total strangers.

They should not be territorially aggressive to other domestic dogs but are born with specialized skills and it is common for hounds at play to course another dog. This is a specific hunting behavior, not a fighting or territorial domination behavior. Most wolfhounds are very gentle with children and are aware of their size and power

    I'm a Cocker Spaniel -

The Cocker Spaniel feels the need to please. She tends to become overly submissive in her mission to make everyone happy but makes up for it with her sensitive nature. A brisk walk around the block is right up her alley, but she prefers to spend part of her time indoors. Her silky hair tends to become tangled, and regular grooming sessions are necessary to keep her looking her best. The accommodating Cocker Spaniel is truly a loving and trusted friend as well as an ideal companion.

I took a similar quiz to this years ago, and at that time I was a Golden Retriever.

Cocker Spaniel. I don't really think so. The last sentence sounds good, but the overly submissive is not exactly right on.

Started getting concerned when answering the questions, but I guess this is me.
