Smile My children were blessed by generous people

Generous people has great blessed my children this summer

First, Little Miss is going to camp for the first time ( maybe the last time too) A lady we know, when her daughter died set up two scholarships in her daughter's name. She hand picks and send two children every summer to camp. This year she picked Little Miss.
The camp is a YMCA week long sleep away camp the cost is $535 dollars This is something we never thought about because we couldn't afford it. It was so generous of her to set up the scholarship and Little Miss will be great enriched and blessed by this ladies generosity.

Second, Buddy's school orchestra is going on a week long trip to California. They are going amazing places and will be playing in amazing places. It will be a long lists of first; first time on a plane, first time seeing the ocean, first time sleeping away without a family member. etc The cost was a bunch $1,250 but they could do fundraisers. It was if you can't pay/earn enough you don't go trip. Buddy worked hard at fundraisers ( mainly ones where you work not sell things) and earned a bunch but that wasn't enough. Hubby's mom sent him a surprise check to help out with cost for no other reason then she saw this as a wonderful experience. My mom heard about the money the other grandma sent and gave him the same amount as his birthday present. But the most surprising was a friend of my mother's who has only met my children a few times and mainly knows them through my mother's stories donated $150 to Buddy for the trip. She says she did so because she remembered her band trip to California in high school and how nervous she was that she wouldn't earn enough.

My children will have a memorable wonderful growing summer full of lots of experiences all because and only because people had generous hearts.

    I am one grateful mommy.

That's fantastic! I suggest that you "pass it on" not necessarily in a finanical manner, but be extra friendly to people or do some volunteer work.

That goes without saying in my world.

It is something we do even without being blessed first.

Maybe someday in the future we will be able to bless someone financially in the same manner as the above people did for us.
