    Default goldfish shaped sandwich bread!

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Pepperidge-Farm-Goldfish-Shaped-Sandwich/dp/B004RGL34A"]Pepperidge Farm Soft Whole Wheat Goldfish Shaped Sandwich Bread Pack of 2: Amazon.com: Grocery & Gourmet Food@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51V7RjVbmkL.@@AMEPARAM@@51V7RjVbmkL[/ame]

Oh great gravy what are they going to market next? This wasn't even on the Pepperidge Farm website yet. Lets market bread to the kids.... at least it is whole wheat... but I'd still be interested in what the nutritional content is.

Wow, $9 is a little ridiculous for bread.

It's not that hard to make bread in kid-friendly shapes, I don't think I would bother buying that stuff.

In the comment section the person agreed with you. The also said they can get it in the grocery store of $3.

I thought it was kinda cute. (Not that I'd pay for it or anything.)

MFGs need to think of all the new ideas they can to get us to spend the $$$$s. Going through the kids is and always has been sneaky IMHO!!

I saw them at the market yesterday... for $2 -- I admit, I was tempted to get some for Diva, but luckily, she isn't that picky of an eater and will eat regular (boring) rectangle whole wheat bread

Free enterprise/supply & demand. I won't be buying but good for them if they can get people to part with their money.

I goggled it to see if I could find out more

It comes in whole wheat and white

I also saw coupons for it and there was a free give away from the place at the end of march so they must be very new.

I refuse to bring this kind of thing into the house, if they don't know it exists they won't turn up their noses at real food... My kiddos happily eat wheat bread, plain yogurt and oatmeal, brussel sprouts etc. Some kids will be picky no matter what their parents do, but we don't need to make it worse with special, cartooney "kid food" IMHO

Too cute, how fun would that be for a fish themed, ocean themed birthday party?

My girls would dig it, but I always like cute and different stuff. My kids aren't picky eaters, I would be getting it for a fun change.

I think it's cute and would buy it IF I could get it for nearly free. I'm not one to normally buy things like this.

I'd be kind of hard to make a regular sandwich out of that, wouldn't it? PB and J would be pretty tidy, but how can you turn that into a ham sandwhich without cutting up the cheese and ham?
