Chracters in the Doctor's Office..Grr
So Dh went w/ me for my pre-op visit. The waiting room was getting crowded & there happened to be a younger couple with 2 small boys there. What I am about to describe, I hope, will not come off as judgemental...but the father of this clan was about in his late 20's & he was wearing those baggy pants where you could see his boxers past his butt. The little boys got into a fist fight for the 2nd time within 15 minutes & one of them crawled under the chairs. Welll....the father bent down to pull his son from underneath the chairs & when he did...I swear.... his a** was only inches from dh's face...boxers, butt...you get the picture. I was sooo irritated that before I had realized what I had said, I told the father " You need to pull up your pants!" Other people heard me too & to tell you the truth...I'm not sorry for saying it. That was really disgusting. Although he has the right to wear what he wants, there is still something called "DECENCEY".....Especially when you are out in public. GGRRR.

I am so on board with you on this! And I mean it for the girls showing off their thong undies when they bend over too. I guess I just don't get it, because I remember the time when it was an embarassment if your bra strap or slip was showing.
Now look at us! GEESH! I don't want/need to see your butt!

How unpleasant. It's really unfortunate that decency, modesty and basic manners are becoming things of the past.

~Good for you!
I own slips.
I agree that those or your straps shouldn't be showing.
And pj's and slippers are for wearing at home, not at the mall or grocery store!
Had to get that in there....~

Good for you. I wanted to say the same thing to a father on the elevator last week.
....and I hate hate hate the pajama's in public thing.
.....and yep I own slips. LOL I wear dresses some of the time and I wouldn't be caught out without a slip on underneath.
....and for one other point. I hate very short dresses and it seems that those that want to wear them like to wear thongs. Ick! I do not want to see anyone's backside tyvm.Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend..

Ugh. I wouldn't want some stranger's crack that close to my face, either. Yuck. :hmmm
Scary to think that kid has procreated already, huh?
I wonder what his kids will be wearing at his age?______

It irritates the beans out of me when my kids don't keep their pants pulled up. I'll tell them to pull them up, but if they don't after one or two warnings, I just stick the tip of my icy cold finger down what's showing. My hands are usually so cold I can wake dh from a sound sleep by putting my hand on his bare back.
I don't do this in public- just at home.
