Imagine NOT Needing Oil
Any Longer? Think some oil CEO's would be unhappy? I'd like to make them all very unhappy right now. I'd like a car, and a home fueled by water, just get me some water cisterns. I wonder how much one of these cars would cost?

Oh I would love that. Until then, I'll continue to bus it, or use ye ol' shoe leather express

I've been cutting back on as many "oil" products as possible.
~ I'm limiting my driving as much as possible.
~ I'm buying in bulk to cut down on trips to the store
~ I avoid purchasing items in plastic as much as possible (made from petroleum)
~ I walk on weekends - leaving the car parked
~ I'm planting a garden, buying locally grown and canning, freezing and drying it to last through the winter.
This is my one-woman protest against the oil companies and their unending greed.

I'm pretty sure that's not real. It's been a legend for awhile. I don't think it's possible to produce energy by extracting hydrogen from water, because that reaction requires energy input.

I don't think this is really legit.

You know Daisy, we have too. I buy glass over plastic if I can. Use wax paper over plastic when I can. The garden is a given, can't imagine not having one. It drives me crazy how dependent we've become to oil. I feel like we are being held hostage.

Love these!

Nishu,
that's a real shame.
My former FIL bought blueprints from someone to make these "things" that you attach somewhere inside your car. These little things made the cars run on pennies. It was absolutely amazing!
MY FIL was extremely paranoid about the whole thing. No one was allowed to know about them, he removed them from all the cars before being serviced for anything. Said it was something underground, and people have died over it.
