Hello! I would like to introduce myself!
How did you hear about frugal village? email newsletter
What interests you here? Knowledge, questions, answers, learning, chatting with people who have the same interests.
What will you contribute? Things that I have learned through the years.
Do you know any other members here? No
How many kids? Ages? Two kids. A daughter that is 25 and a son that is 23. Both are engaged. I also have two grandsons. 4 and 1 1/2
Tell us about yourself. Well, I'm a military brat. My dad was in the Air Force. We moved 22 times when I was growing up. Been to alot of places! Seen alot of things. I'm married, 28 years last month! When my husband and I became empty nesters we quit our jobs, sold our two story home in a busy city area. Moved out to the country in a new state by my parents, bought the perfect little rancher home and got new jobs close to home. Our kids thought we were crazy for moving here in the middle of no where. But now years later my son and his family moved only 10 miles away!
I have starting taking classes again at the local community college. Things that I have always been interested in. Photography, etc...
Do you own any pets? A dog, Min Pin named Brinks and a cat named Zoe. We got both from the animal shelter. Both had some issues. That is why we picked them. Brinks was dumped on our street when he was 4 months old and had cig. burns on his belly. My husband found him and we took him to the local animal hospital. When unclaimed the animal shelter let us have him. Our cat Zoe has a dislocated hip. And it had healed that way. But we didn't care. When we saw how out going she is and how much she loved the grandsons we knew she was the one.
Occupation? Communications Technology Assistant at a school for people that have special needs.
Married or single? Married
Interests and hobbies? Camping in our 5th wheel. Reading, decorating, scrapbooking, stamping , crochet, frugal things, gardening, computer, photography, organizing, music
Looking forward to chatting with everyone!
