    Default My "extreme" shopping trip...

Ok, well it wasn't extreme in the ways of the "Extreme couponing" show is, but for us it was extreme. We don't typically buy more then 30 dollars worth of food at the grocery store because we buy a lot of bulk things at BJs Wholesale and smaller things at Walmart/Target and produce at the local produce market. But here is how we did last night. I'm deffinately going back this week and stocking up on a few things that were excellent prices.

    15 - Powerades - buy 10 get 5 free, and 4BOGO coupons = 6.00
    4 - 2liter Cokes = 4.00
    2 - Growers Pride OJ = 3.58
    1 - Turkey Hill iced tea half gallon- 1.00 coupon = .50
    3 - General Mills Cereal
    1 Honey Nut Chex - .85 coupon (doubled) = .79
    1 Cinnamon burst Cheerios - .75 coupon (doubled), .75 cellfire = .24 <~~~~ONE OF THE BEST SAVINGS
    1 Corn Chex - .85 coupon (doubled) = .79
1 - Milk, gallon = free when you buy 3 GM cereals
    2 - Carnation Evaporated milk - 1.00 coupon = .76
    1 - Nutella - 1.00 coupon = 1.99
    3 - Idahoan potato pouches - 1.00/3 coupon = 2.00
    1 - pack of Oreos - .75 coupon (doubled) = 1.49
    1 - 6pack Bounty - 4.00 coupon = .99 <~~~~ONE OF THE BEST SAVINGS
    2 - Pringles - 1.00/2 coupon = 2.00
    1 - store bread = .99
    2 - Perdue frozen wings bag = 11.98
    1 - Broccoli crowns = .75
    1 - International Delights creamer - .55 coupon (doubled) = .14 <~~~~ONE OF THE BEST SAVINGS
    1 - Frigo String cheese = 2.99
    1 - 18 Large eggs = 1.49
    3 - Bird's Eye frozen Veggies - .75 coupon (doubled) = 1.47
    3 - Brown and serve sausage - 5.00
    1 - Keri Lotion - 2.00 coupon = 1.49 (originally 7.49) <~~~~ONE OF THE BEST SAVINGS
    1 - Rayovac AA batteries - 1.00 coupon = free

Total savings (store sales and coupons) = 71.58
    Total OOP = 50.83

If my boyfriend wasn't impulsive we wouldn't have gotten any of the things that didn't have a coupon expect for the bread and eggs. And if i would have known he wanted those things, I would have looked up a coupon before we left to go shopping! lol
