Yesterday, Wal Mart and Milk
Went to get milk and eggs there as I had to stop anyway and just didn't want to stop at Aldi's to save $1.25. Start the car..stop the car...start the car again..didn't pay.
Standing in front of the milk...theirs was still $3.48 BUT the two other brands beside theirs were $5.74 amd $5.44. These two brands are here in Florida so WTH???!!!!
Almost $6 a gallon for milk when the dairies here are in abundance?
Don't know that this Wal Mart, probably not, haven't been to Publix or other to see what same brand milk is there but will do. This is ridiculous. It's not gas, the dairies are the next town over for one and not far for the other.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

We never buy milk at Walmart because of the price.
We can usually get it at Kroger and sometimes Rite Aid for $2.29/gallonRuss

It's like living in Edmonton with the oil refineries and having to pay $1.16 per litre for gas.

I paid $4.39 for milk the other day and it made me really sad. Even at Superstore, milk is 3.59.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

Believe it or not.....I can buy milk at my gas station cheaper that I can at Walmart.
Gas station has milk 2 for $6.00 and Walmart was $3.39. Which is crazy...since when has convenience store stuff been a better deal that a big box store???"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

I must live in an area where they don't sell much milk, so the price is low. I only buy a gallon at a time and then it OFTEN will expire before we can use it all (and a gallon is the SAME price as half-gallon!) but it's ALWAYS $2.29 at Target here, and it's been $1.99 at Aldi for the last four months. The milk alternatives, however, are REALLY expensive. And I prefer the coconut or almond milk in my coffee. Sorry about your high milk prices. Wish it was the same low price everywhere.
Totally debt free since January 2011.
