i dont know if anyone remembers or not but my husband lost his job back in october..and other then side work nothing else...well some people he knows needed someone to list items on craiglist and ebay and ship..so they offered me the job..its work at home..with a laptop they provide and $15 an hour!!

BUT i need to go in to record inventory and such..and of course its spring break here so i have both kids..

the lady three doors down wants $40.00 a day...for 4 hours
i found another lady i was supposed to meet today but she called and said she no longer at the space
most the adds wants no one over infant or 4 years old
and they all want full time (cant blame them there)
and i really dont have an idea on what my schedule will be like..i need a week or two going in and then sometimes ill need a day or two...

    Congratulations on the job!

Is your husband at home and not working now? Could he watch them for you so you could go back to work part time to help you all out? Sounds like a great work at home job, that would be flexible to a point. Hope all works out for you.

$40 for 4 hours isn't bad. That's $10 an hour for two kids. Pretty standard in this area, anyway. Will your husband be at home at all to help out this week?

Even if your husband isn't home during the day can you work when he is home in the evenings? I'd try to find a way to work when he is home with the kids- saves you money! Good luck- I was a powerseller on Ebay for about 11 years and now just dabble in it. Hope it works out!

Are there set times and days you have to go in? Could you hire a H.S. student to watch for a couple of hours after school, or go in whenever hubby has time home to care for them?

I worked from home with 3 kids for many years. Lay down some rules and be prepared for those rules to be broken!

It's all you can do but you CAN do it.

I hope you can find someone for the times you have to be away. It sounds like a good opportunity.

i say go for it and figure it all out! if the $40 for 4 hrs, is just a one time thing since it is spring break, not a bad deal! what about summertime? in the summer, highschoolers should be okay for a few hrs.

i have paid $10/hr since dd was an infant......i

if the emplo9yer is flexible between school breaks and summers, it seems like a great deal! good luck
