I am new here and happy to be.
How did you hear about frugal village? Google! (zzzzzz)
What interests you here? Oh everything, and looking around at everything I am overwhelmed. It's fun and exciting to explore...
What will you contribute? Millions of dollars.
Maybe I'll find I have a frugal living tip I haven't seen, but I expect I'll learn more than anything.
Do you know any other members here? No, unless they've kept it a secret from me.
How many kids? 3 Ages? 31, 33 and 35
Tell us about yourself. I live in Northern Michigan and have done the office work at home for my husband's 34 years of being self-employed as an Electrical Contractor. Which means we're in bad financial condition. I mean, what worse occupation in what worse location at this particular time? I'm couponing, trying to squeeze every penny...the problem is we already had given up fun stuff so now we're cutting back on everything.
Do you own any pets? Yes we have a sweet 12 year old Boston Terrier and she is in her 4th year of having Canine Cushing's Disease and not doing great-I have to carry her pretty much everywhere. But she's not "suffering" and she is eating well, etc,. I just try not to think about when she ran around and played ball, etc,. Also we have a Patch Tabby named Annie and a white & black domestic short hair named Po (Po Purr E.) who will both be 3 soon. Many a day they make me smile and laugh when I wouldn't have otherwise.
Occupation? Doing office work for husband's business when there is any.
Married or single? Married, almost 38 years.
Interests and hobbies? Reading, grandchildren , internetting, plants, figuring out new ways to get by financially so we don't lose our home.
Happy to be here and learn!!

Hi Merrilee
You'll find lots here to help you, and lots of people here to help you. Lots here do super well using coupons and I'll bet they could give you some pointers. I'm amazed at how well some of the couponers here do.
I'm sorry to hear how hard things are for you out there,
Anything that has to do with construction has been hit hard.
That so sad about your Boston Terrier. We have a 11 year old cat named Sweetpea. Our furry kin sure give us lots to smile about don't they?
I look forward to getting to know you, see you on the boards.
