    Default T.P. or not T.P.

    Back in the day when we had $$$ we bought Charmin in bulk from Costco. Now we use Angel Soft from WalMart. The price is right but is there a better quality available for the same cost or less?

    What brand of toilet paper do you use and why?

    I like the title of this thread. I really thought it was going to be about family wipes though. Glad it wasn't.

    I use small steps. I don't remember what the name of the company is that makes it. I buy it because it's 3.99 for 12 double rolls which is the cheapest at the commissary. I'm not picky.

    I use quilted northern ultra plush or soft and strong. I buy it on sale at the grocery store or big lots. They make donations to the susan korman breast cancer research center with purchase of there tp.

    I use white cloud
    Why? Because it was one recommended by the plumber when cleaning out the sewer pipes.

    He said the premium brand don't dissolve well and can back sewers pipes up

    Charmin, quilted northern and anything that say strong or thick are no no's according to him

    I usually use Charmin Basic. I get it on sale for 50 cents a roll or less if I have coupons from Walgreens or CVS.

    I only buy kittly litter from Walmart now and soon I won't be buying that there.

    I buy a few certain brands that are cheap. I buy them when they hit $3.99 for a 24-pack. Once in a blue moon, I buy my coveted Charmin for me (and me only) if I can find it cheap enough (very rarely happens).

    My husband is the picky one and is always saying sometimes it isn't the money spent that should be looked at .. in other words sometime taste or doing the job should be the desided factor.. well in our case we use either angel soft or northern.. what ever is on sale and or i have coupons for. Right now i have a northern and two angel softs. If i have coupons I will buy more than one. I have a dresser in the bathroom and stack them up there. I tried that peso from hyvee .. it was on sale for 3.99 and I had a dollar coupon was really cheap enough just its like one ply yuck!!!!

    DH and I have a few brands we absolutely will not use...

    ...Scott Naturals - it was like wiping with sandpaper. Cheap hotel toilet paper was better than that junk.
    ...Any Charmin - the two times we bought it, it clogged up our toilets, flooded the bathrooms and was an overall mess-fest.
    ...Store brands - just not taking chance on them.

    Our bottom halves prefer and receive the "powder puff" treatment. DH, the kids and I could be classified as toilet paper snobs. Quilted Northern is our top choice and Scott extra soft has become our second favorite.

    I use shoprite's or CVS's equivalent to scotts toilet paper. Seems to last the longest. The quilted brands somehow get used up quickly.
