Will you be watching the Royal Wedding?
I will be watching on and off during the morning and afternoon.

Yes, but like you it will be on and off. I mostly want to see her enter the church, you know that moment when you get to see the dress?
My DH is sick of hearing about the royal wedding.

No. I'm in GMT+1 and wouldn't have to get up early to watch, but I just don't care. I don't understand the media circus around it.
Two rich kids getting married, why do people outside of the UK care so much?

I did not intend to, as the coverage begins at 5am my time. But, alas, I was up at 5am with a coughing fit from this darned bronchitis, and there's nothing else on the tv!

No, I didn't watch it, I don't understand why anyone under the age of 40 in this country would have any interest in that family and their hangers on at all tbh.

I woke early so I turned it on then fell asleep part way through.
I think some see it as an event in history that they can witness. Some watch it for the fashion.... (I so wish hats were fashionable here).
I think the media focused too much on it with the countdowns and hoo-haa but considering what the majority of the news is... people need to cling to something fun, light and positive against the clashes of natural disasters and war. So the media provided. The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

Happened to get up and turn on the TV just as she was riding to the church. I like watching just to see what it is all about.

Yes I did start watching about 6 am it was the middle of the church services my time. I am not a huge royal fanatic but I did watch Princess Diana's funeral. My only wish is that the photo hogs leave them alone some what and do not chase them down all the time. Regardless if they are royalty they are a young couple and deserve some privacy.
DD got up early and watched it with me she was fascinated and we had a history talk about England and its relationship with Canada. She just kept asking when do they get to kiss! LOL

I'm a little busy at that time of day, getting kids off to school, etc. I watched the crowd streaming into the square in front of the palace, which I found fascinating that a group that large could move in such an orderly way. Then I watched the balcony bit and some ceremony highlights.
I love a happy wedding; one where the couple seems in love and everyone around them is pleased with the match. Always reminds me of my own wedding day and how much I love my husband.

Nope. But, I did get a two second glimpse of her dress, which is really all I wanted to see. It was nice and pretty and plain. It was very tasteful.
