    Default couple of updates

    Firstly about my friend's mom.
    She is doing SO WELL!!!!
She is at home and (as usual) trying to do as much as possible. (She can't sit still.)
I spoke to her on Easter Sunday and she sounded like herself again. Also interested in everyone and not paying attention to her own problems.
She thanked me profusely for my prayers and asked me to thank EVERYONE who had prayed for her. She appreciated them immensely
and is convinced that they have helped her get to where she is now.

    On a side note.
Dh, Fiori and Timothy (only daughter and 2nd son) and I will be NY in the summer and my friend will be coming to see us and will be bringing her mom.
The hilarious thing is and so typical of her, I asked her if there was anything that I could bring over with me for her. Her answer - not Dutch chocolate or cheese or any other Dutch delicacies.
'Doekjes' - this is a cleaning cloth that she had seen and used when her daughter (my friend) had lived in Holland and she LOVES them with a vengeance. (Of course I could send them across now but I don't want her to be overdoing things.)

    The other update.

My 2 sons are almost moved into their new apartment. Work slowed down when my son started to have mini seizures again and had to go back on his meds after being off them for a long while.

I hope to have a final batch of photos of the apartment tomorrow (the 'after' photos) when I go to help out with (further) cleaning and moving in.

I am sad that they have moved out especially with my (3rd) son and his health problems.
I guess I am like every other mom - if my son isn't well - I prefer to have him here so that I can 'mother' him. But his meds seem to be working and the side affects are lessening now thank goodness.

Some of their stuff is still here but with a bit of luck we can get them settled completely by tomorrow.

The next week we can start re-decorating this place. *groan*

It is good to hear this news. Glad that your friend's mom is doing so well.

I am glad that your sons are making strides in being independent. But I know it is hard to watch them leave. Looking forward to seeing pictures also.

When you go to NY, be sure to try getting in touch with any FVers that might live in the area. What an opportunity.
