Listening to the crowd outside the White House, brings a tear to my eyes.... they were singing the National Anthem and shouting USA.... I haven't seen this type of patriotism since 9-11.

Love watching the people at ground zero. Beautiful.

Just thinking about how Obama will go down in history now.

Big deal, it's not like there isn't someone in the wings waiting to take over.

A symbolic victory for sure, but I don't think the world is any safer. In fact, it's probably less safe now.

I was watching it and all I could think was now what. This really isn't going to end anything just make things worse there will be relalition and even more people kills. I know this person did absolutely horrible things but for them to literally hunt and kill a person makes me question everything. And for all the people who said they got their revenge, I just fear for all the soldiers. And fear for what's to come....

Well I don't think we are a bit safer. I think we are probably less safe for right now because they will be looking to "avenge" his death. I think actually it may have especially PO'ed them that we took his body with us. I am however elated he is DEAD. It brought tears to my eyes as well to see the people at the White House and ground zero last night. Obama scored some well deserved major points last night with alot of people.

Mix of feelings here too- delighted he's dead by our hand, and his body is out at see so his 'followers' lose it, but I think this elevates the threat immensly- esp. with the 10 year anniversary of 9-11 coming up.....but it's not like the people who will now look to 'avenge' him wouldn't joyfully kill us all in our sleep anyways. I read a woman was killed by us in the compound, while being used as Obama's side as a 'human shield'. Not mad at our side for it, but shows exactly what kind of crazy we're dealing with here....

That would be Osama.... Obama is on our side. News programs have been making the same "oops!"

I'm thrilled for the victory. I'm sure there will be terrorist cells that will "avenge" his death so I don't think the threat will go away anytime soon.

Great that the US got him, but this is not over by a long shot. The war will not be over sad to say. And the world is not a safer place now that he is dead.

There were no virgins waiting on the other side for him either.
