Triple Murder in My Area
Last night we heard on the news that a 21 yr old man shot and killed 3 young ladies that he was with(ages 18,21 & 26).One of the girls had been his on again, off again gf. This young man had a history of violence against women - he was already on probabtion for stabbing another woman in the chest...Anyway....
Ds #2 comes home late from work last night in shock of what he had learned that night.....his manager's daughter was murdered and the young man that did it also used to work with him(ds). The murderer had quit a few weeks ago. These were the same people that the news story was about. Ds feels so terrible about it all...not only did he know the mother of one of the victims, but also the person who did this horrible act.Ds couldn't believe it b/c the guy had seemed like a really nice person...he couldn't believe that he would ever do something like this.

Shocking and traumatizing are the words for it!! So sorry that you all, especially your son need to deal with this. Prayers to everyone involved.

That is horrible........your ds will be in shock for a bit.
The sad part is that is seems to be a 'reality' for today's living.......really scary.
We just had three 'youngsters' kill a guy ("friend"--or someone they knew).......stuff his body in the trunk of a car and set fire to the car!!! Sounds like something in a MOVIE!!!
The number of FEMALES involved in violent crime is what is surprising to me..........they say the number in prison (females, for violent crimes) has doubled.

How awful! It is truly terrible when it's so close to home - really makes you think about how easily bad things can happen. Hugs to your DS!

That is sad. It even made the news up here in San Antonio. We were down in Corpus seeing my mom this weekend and she told us that he had already been on probation. How sad for the families of those young women he killed.

Ds saw two of the obituaries in yesterday's paper...they were very pretty girls & one of them left behind 3 little children. I know that it will take some time to get over the shock of it all, but right now, I think that Ds is handling it better than he did at first.

I do not understand how or why he is on probation now - why is he free to walk the streets and possibly harm other people? What's the sense?

Neither do I...here he is on probation for stabbing his former girlfriend in the chest with a pocket knife (she survived w/injuries to her chest & hands)...they were wanting to put him away for 5 years & instead the punk got off with probation??? No sense at all...3 young ladies dead, 3 little ones without their mother....our judicial system is a frickin' joke

"This young man had a history of violence against women - he was already on probabtion for stabbing another woman in the chest"
This guy should have been locked up for a very long time the 1st time around. I wonder when some people will finally realize that leopards don't change their spots. Now 3 families have lost loved ones and many other's lives like your son's have also been effected because some people thought this killer could be let out and "rehabilitated" shake head...
