    Today

Today you have the opportunity to change your future. You owe it to your future self to act today in all things with the goal of making your future better.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

~I totally agree! I needed to hear that today too. We may have gotten robbed but I can still make good choices for our future! Like buying a huge, ferocious dog. ~

Your post comes at the perfect time for me - I'm tired of hearing all these negative whiny people around me playing the 'pity me' song over and over yet refuse to step up and make any changes in their own lives and be accountable for anything.

Only you can control your future, be accountable for your actions! Time to stop saying 'I can't' (when you really mean 'I won't') and say 'I WILL'

Thank you for posting this as a reminder.

Isn't it funny how those same words give each of us the kick in the pants we need to get us started on our goals no matter how different they are. My goals right now are not big life changing ones but still need to be done to make the future a bit simpler. We are in the process of building a new home and I've already started tossing, getting stuff ready for a moving sale and packing what we are taking with us so I don't have so much to move and so much to do when we are ready to move. I want to do a little each day. I needed that push today to get going. Thanks Greebo.
