We need a new roof :(
The house we are in is only 12 yrs old, and we recently found out, that there is a class action law suit involving the shingles used on the house....since then we've developed a couple of leaks in the house...Been agonizing for months over how to come up with $7,000 for a new roof.
On a whim I called our insurance company and asked for someone to come and look at our roof as we have noticed a few leaks in the house. Was not real hopeful, as it was defective shingles.
Received a check on Friday for a FULL roof replacement, plus money to put towards fixing the ceiling where the leaks are!!!!!
His report showed there was hail damage (from when I don't know, have not had hail since we lived here). I am so, so grateful!"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

That is great. We had some bad storms come through our area a few weeks ago that blew shingles off my sis house and they called the insurance. They ended up putting a new roof on their house too. They put metal on this time.

That's terrific news! We had the same thing happen and our insurance company paid in full for a new roof due to hail damage.
And I know exactly when it happened, that storm was CRAZY!
