My son got a job!!!
..and he didn't even have to go in for a second interview. He goes at the end of the week for fingerprinting and will start in 2 weeks. He will be the assistant for the CFO at one of our local banks in their accounting department.
I'm jumping up and down with excitement for him. Its a good position with good benefits. He can continue to live at home for now and work. His job will be about 10 minutes from our new house we are building. ;D
He's doing 1 more MBA class online this summer too and he'll have his Master's by August. He's going to be busy. After 1 year he can take his CPA exam.
Now if my daughter can just find a summer job.Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend..

Thank you everyone. I'm just so excited for him. He wanted so much to stay in his hometown and work. So many of our young people have to leave town so they can have work. Things have never been good here and not many jobs since the factories have mostly left. My husband had to work in other towns for 25 years until he finally got to come home and manage a local store.
I just feel so blessed for him. My son has worked so hard to get his education. The last year was really tough on him trying to work on his mba. He got an assistantship and had to work at the college. He got a very tough assignment working with a blind student. With working with him and trying to keep up his own school work plus he worked with a professor...very nice man 10 hours a week too he was so stressed out. He still managed to make straight A's this semester in his 4 classes. Plus he teaches Sunday School at church every other week.
This job is a blessing for sure. He's trying to come up with enough money right now to pay for his last summer class. He's selling stuff on Ebay and we are having a yard sale this weekend. If he can make enough for this last class he will graduate with his Masters and be completely debt free. He's almost there. I'm so proud of him.Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend..
