That's awesome. No matter what he looks like a guy cuddling a kitten vs a guy holding up a dead thing he just shot wins hands down for me.

As a vegetarian, men that are kind to animals rock my world.

I don't know...I dated a guy who rescued a dog from Katrina and well, he was kinder to his dog than he was to me.

When I was younger I heard someone say, "If you want to get an idea of what kind of father a man will be, watch how he treats animals and how animals treat him."

Rings true for me. Even when we were young kids, DH was always good with animals and animals have always been drawn to him. However, DH is an overly sensitive man, IMO. He cannot watch the ASPCA commercials, cries at the St. Jude infomercials, and refuses to set foot in a animal shelter because he wants to save all of the little critters. But, I wouldn't trade my overly sensitive, emotional guy for anything.
