    Default I'm getting my voice back!!!!!

    After having thyroid surgery 7 weeks ago I was told that the left side of my vocal chords had taken some damage & I probably wouldn't be able to speak above a whisper for at least 4 months afterward. Imagine my sorrow when going out anywhere that my dh had to speak for me....or even worse that my little girl had asked me..."Momma, when are you going to get your voice back? - I can't remember what you sounded like". Welll......I woke up this morning and bam! there it was.lol.Other than it sounding a little gravelly, I can speak clearly and my voice can be heard in the next room...I can talk on the phone and people can finally have a conversation with me. I can talk now, but I am at a total loss for words....God is soooo awesome
