I'm in central IL & new here
How did you hear about frugal village? Actually I found it while googling for a dinner recipe last night!
What interests you here? I've always been kinda frugal, but I've been improving over the last few years and want to be able to share with all of you on our frugal yet prosperous journey.
What will you contribute? I hope to contribute some tips that I've learned over the years, offer encouragement to others and make some friends that have the same goals.
Do you know any other members here? No
How many kids? Ages? 4 kids. Ages 20, 10, 9, 7.
Tell us about yourself. Homeschooling Mom of 3 (oldest in college), married to a soldier.
Do you own any pets? Yes. A rat terrier that is so fat she looks more like a pot-bellied pig!
Occupation? I'm in the Air National Guard (part-time) for a bit longer. I want to retire but need to be able to live without the income.
Married or single? Married.
Interests and hobbies? Baking, sewing and knitting (I'm very new at these hobbies but I enjoy them). I love reading, especially old cookbooks, classics, American history, British history, British mysteries and books on current events.

Hi! We used to homeschool. I put my three guys in the American school for high school (private correspondence high school). It is sort of like homeschooling still.
Oh yeah, I grew up near Alton.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998
