Thanks Judy, especially for thinking of me...and thank you everyone who remembers. The thought is so nice...
I caught wind of this this morning on Fox...and here in Florida to boot. Bank of Hell still hasn't paid him the money owed him. I hope he ends up owning the place...or it burns down...or blows up...or has a flood in a single building...a tornado swoops down and straight back up...or implodes...or ..or...or...oh my, let me count the ways.
I really need to do an update to our situation...it's not over by far...in a way it's really just started. Only reason I haven't is I tend to write a book when I start and oh my is there so much....learned Wachovia/Wells Fargo is neck and neck with Bank of Hell. I'll have to sit down soon and start posting about what's going on. Unbelievable.Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Niko, you can imagine how my heart sunk when my best friend told me a few days ago that she was four months behind on her Bank of America mortgage!
She is waiting for them to do a loan modification with the Making Home Affordable Program. Do you think it's anywhere in the realm of possibilities? Or like DR says, if their mouth is moving they're lying.

I can speak from personal experience wells fargo is a bunch of low life (expletive) jerks! in 2006 we bought a townhouse- 1st year no problems, by the end of the 2nd year the economy started not doing so well, and hubby got laid off-- missed or only made some partial payments(called and explained to them why)
they swore up and down they could help us- i wrote them a hardship letter like i was told to and mailed it and the info they needed to them was supposed to hear in 2-3weeks, time came and passed called them several times to find out the status of said letter and each time got a different answer as to how long it was going to take(all different from the original time frame)
in the meantime got several harassing calls a day from them wanting money-- i lost track of the number of times the person on the other end made me cry while talking to them! hubby would usually take the phone from me and give them an earful and hang up so he could get me calmed down.
one even told to sell everything i owned as i wouldn't need any of it living in a cardboard box(how's that for customer service) I sent several e-mails to them regarding their horrid customer service per week!
in the end their idea of "help was to lower our mortgage payment by a lame-o $30 per month and they wouldn't do anything about all the fees or anything.
we ended up moving back into an apartment. and selling the townhouse in a short sale. wells fargo was even irritating our realtor as they continually dinked around on things he would send them and delayed getting a closing date several times. during one of the delays one of the toilets kept running and runnng at the townhouse and racked up a $600+ water bill and wells fargo ended up having to pay it as if they wouldn't have delayed things at the last possible minute yet again- it would have never happened.
they were real good at not getting back to our realtor until like the night before we were going to close to tell him there was some sort or other of delay--we'd in turn get mad as we had taken the time off work for the closing and then it would get delayed (happened at least 4 times)
needless to say, we HATE wells fargo anytime i see a commercial or we drive by one i "flip it a double bird"
