I've never done Disney Land, but I have been to Disney World more times than I can count over the past ten years. We go every year for a week to ten days for Christmas.

You are going to have a blast!!! It is my favorite place on earth.

Hehehe - is it wrong that this thread totally made me think of you Neely? I seem to have you dubbed as the Queen of Disney World in my head and my go to person for it.

This is disney world advice, haven't been to disney land as an adult:

Buy one of the BIG ol' cups that they let you refill for cheap all around the park. We kept the lids of ours as souvenir and used it many, many times at home afterwards until we finally cracked the cups. (dishwasher abuse I guess, oops) Now I have the lids with my sentimental stuff. They were big animal heads for Animal Kingdom in Disney World.

Splurge more on dinners, try to avoid all the dinky drinks and snacks that are everywhere and wait until actually hungry to buy food.

Hope this helps! Looks like Neely will be the expert on this though, I am so jealous! Have only been to DW once in my life, it was awesome.

2012 Grocery Budget Reduction Challenge- $100 a month. (down from $150) Hm, might be too low.
Electric Usage Challenge (doing well, under $70 most months)

Yah, I suck at this money stuff, I know. That's why I'm here.

We are heading to Disneyland for the 3rd time end of June. We have found many deals over the years. There are many restaurants just outside Disneyland gates that are way cheaper than in the park. Check out different ones for kids eat free with adult purchase. If you drink coffee, buy a cup as you go in and keep the receipt, you'll be able to get free refills while in the park for that day. Also bring a water bottle, you can refill them at any of the water stations. Most of them are filtered water. If you can't find one, go to the med station, they will either refill for you or can send you in the direction of the nearest one. If you are getting a hotel off park property, try and get one that has breakfast. This will save you a bit because you can get the kids to the park on a full stomach. There is a Target store near Disneyland, so you can get water, snacks etc. You won't have to buy them in hotel and pay a fortune. Or if you are driving, take your own. You can take a small portable cooler(soft sided) into the park as well. We take our drinks and some snacks with us. You can take sandwiches in as awell, which will help you save some money. There are tons of saving sites for Disneyland as well. I googled them them first time we went and saved from them. If you are going to be visiting other places near and around Anaheim, sign up for the visitor bureau sites and they will send you news of what is going on and some have coupons that you can save outside of Disneyland.

Hope this helps! If I remember any others, I will try to put it up.
