Been gone a while, but now I'm back

Hi everyone!

I've been gone for nearly 2 years, I do pop on every now and then. I'm still in nursing school and I only have 3 more quarters to go. I've worked extremely hard to keep my 4.0 GPA and in the meantime my frugality has taken a huge hit. But I'm back and more focused, and bound and determined to leave college with as little debt as possible.

What my plans are:
*Focus to pay down credit cards (ugh, those darn things again)
*Save up $1000 (have 900 right now)
*Filled out financial aid and will receive a Pell Grant this year
*Accepted a scholarship for academic achievement (pays 1/2 my tuition)
*garden is planted
*Pool is set up in the backyard (summer entertainment for kids)
*Summer vacation is all paid for (we're bringing food, and planned on eating out 1 time while gone)
*turn down hot water heater
*clothes line is strung finally getting some nice weather and no rain
* menu planning (been slacking big time)

So for now these are the changes I've made and can handle while still going to school full time. I'll add more if I can handle them
