The Shining (Kubrick's version)
Event Horizon
Hellraiser
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
If you want to expand to simply psychological thrillers, I would toss in:
Moon
Kalifornia
U-Turn (maybe)
Gattaca (maybe)

Thanks guys!
I'm writing these all down and will check if my library has any of them.
I liked The Shining, maybe I should revist that one...
I found some episodes of Ghost Adventures on youtube and am loving those. I think I'm just sick of the kid friendly movies that I've been watching for the last several years - does anyone want to watch Blue's Clues one more time? LOL

The Changeling with George C. Scott. Great supernatural movie with no gore, cursing or nudity. Also Ghost Story is another good one.

The Shining is one of my favorites too! How about Dracula (with Bela Lugosi of course)? Jeepers Creepers? He Knows You're Alone?

I was going to recommend The Human Centipede, but that might be a little more graphic than you'd like.
I really liked A Haunting in Connecticut. A lot of good scary movies for me are ones that have zombies, blood, gore, etc in it.Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

there's also the exorcism of emily rose, which is not only a scary movie, but also a court room drama.
