    Default Prayers -- fire, smoke

There is a fire raging in AZ. Last report I heard it was their second worse and 0% contained.

We are about 200ish miles downwind of them and the smoke here is unreal. I never knew a fire that far away would cause that much smoke here. We are getting ash fallout so bad that they are closing pools (pumps cannot handle it) and all outside activities are cancelled.

Many in AZ are out of their homes. Many people here are sweltering because of the type of air coolers that are popular here. (You have to turn them off in smoke situations like this). It is causeing pg women to go into labor, even people w/o breathing problems are having breathing problems.

AZ needs a good lightening free cloud burst to put all these fires out! Monsoon season needs to start early!

Hugs to you, be safe in this.

I heard that several small fires were deliberately set? Are you getting reports like that as well?

I had a long answer typed out and the cat ran through and unplugged the internet.

This fire was started by an unattened campfire. It is over 400,000 acres and 0% contained now. There is another one South of it that is over 150,000 acres.

I haven't heard anything about any being started on purpose. Firefighters do start some to control some burns either by reducing brush or making vacuums to put some out.

The wind is supposed to be in our favor today. They are hoping the firefighters can make some progress. We should have a few hours of sky.

I hope and prey that the firefighters start getting the help they need from mother nature.
I live in a basin and when everything aroung me was on fire. They closed the schools because of smoke and ash. They finely caught the people who started them. Be safe

Yes I'm out of my mind. It's a dark and scary place in there.

My dad lives in Eagar and they were ordered to evacuate yesterday. Scary! He lives in a motor home, so he was able to take everything he owns with him, but last I heard, the fire was heading in the general direction of his girlfriend's house. I really hope the firefighters are able to make some progress today.

Wow thats not to far from the future in laws :/ Regardless of where the wild fire is....I hope they're able to tame it and extinguish it sooner rather then later.

We got some winds that gave us some clear air yesterday and may have some today.

The fires are really hitting populated areas now.
