Cool I don't know why I worried - share your stories

We all hear don't worry about it. But sometimes we worry and later we wonder why we did.

Share your "I don't know why I worried" story

    I will get us started

Little Miss needed three pairs of shoes for camp, right when she was ready to make a shoes size change.

I looked for shoes and figured I might have to settle on walmart pair full price for camp. You know camp where your shoes come back ruined or near so if they don't get completely lost.

She ended up with four pairs that didn't cost us a cent. free free I tell ya.

A pair of cowboy boots Found a pair of cowboy boots stashed in a weird place in storage. They had been given to her a few years ago but were to big and she had stated she would never wear them anyway they were to boyish. They were perfect for riding the horses at camp and now they the fit.

We also found a pair of handed down to us white tennis shoes that we had tried to give away because the sole was stained red. No one wanted them because the sole was stained red. LOL So we still had them. Found them in our give away pile. They fit and we thought they would "work for camp" Pulled them out Buddy looked at them and said the red stain was form the middle school track and that it wears off quickly. She wore them a day and the red wore off and now they look as good as new.

We also received a hand me down bag that had a pair of Nike Free shoes in them. The size we needed.

We also received a pair of pink high tops with little very girly trim.

Here I was worried about getting a pair of shoes and four show up for free.

    I don't know why I worried.

That's great not having to spend any money. I never buy anything new except for underwear, bathing suits, and my Dh's work shoes. Other than that we go to yard sales and a great new find the bargain goodwill found several great items borne shoes(1.50) like new, coach purses (1.25), and tons of great almost new clothes. Kids clothes since they out grow them before they wear out why buy new, clothes are 99 cents a lb there. Plus the hunt is just fun!!!!!!!!!!!

I see this is your first post

We at our house shop thrift stores a bunch. Our prices at our Goodwill are higher than yours as we don't have the goodwil outlet near by. Still good deals to be had though

Frugal village as a section called second hand shopping. Many of us post our good finds there. Feel free to post your good second hand heals there as well. We would love to hear about them.

    Again Welcome.
