Thread Killers annon
Anyone else a "thread killer"? LOL Seems like I post to a thread and bam...that's the last thing that the thread ever sees. Poor thing never stood a chance.
Probably the truth is people are out enjoying the weather or such.~~ Missy ~~

I have belonged to many forums and spring and summer are typically slow times for forums.
Speaking for myself, I have way too much to do around the house and yard to get online much.Russ

I'm just getting over a cold, so I'm on here a lot more than usual. Otherwise I just check in the Village twice a day. I'm just too busy doing other things right now. Oh goodie! We're having a thunder and lightning storm.
Bye bye folks!

Yep, happens to everybody. When I first started coming to the Village and it seemed that happened to me I'd sometimes take it personally. I know now that it's just like you said, people are busy, they don't have anything to add to the thread I may have commented on or it's just not something they are interested in. Not to worry.

See, what you have to do is write something that will tick off about 95% of the forum. Then you have people that will tell you off and then another 5% who will defend you.
Geesh.

So true!
Russ is right, it's just the time of year. Every year I've been here it does this.
I'm not fond of the summer so I tend to be online more than ever. So I post a lot. You've probably noticed that.
If people don't respond I don't take it personally. I just keep talking to 'myself' and wait until someone does have time to respond.
I mean, it's even hard to get my own mother on the phone this time of year. It always goes to her machine and she calls me back later. She loves this weather too much to not be gardening or at the beach and all the other places she goes to in great weather.

Note to self: end all threads so these people don't have to worry about being last.
