Happy Words
Some words just make you smile. I'm not sure if it is the mental pictures they invoke or just the sound of them. Or mabe a combination of the two.
Here are my happy words:
"Cookie"
"Cupcake"
"Puppy"

Mine are the connection to the concept. I don't think I smile at any words just because they have a nice sound.~~Constance

Gosh, I can't think of just one word, just words strung together. I guess I'll put it down because these have been the happiest words I have ever heard over these last 4 years.

"My Treat" - ok thats two words but when they're put together - I get happy b/c it usually means someone else is buying me a meal, treat or coffee as in something I normally would try to go w/o or make at home unless its a special occasion
"Free" - I LOVE hearing this especially when its applied with something I want.
And lastly, a word that makes me 'smile' just from hearing it - "kumquat" - and simply b/c its an exotic sounding word which almost everyone automatically associates it with something naughty.
I can't help but giggle each time I hear it.

where's Maui? Almost ALL the street names I saw in Oahu!! (I am sure I pronounced them all terribly wrong... Likelike Highway - I pronounced this Licky-licky highway of course!)
Hardest part of navigating in Honolulu is driving past five streets with six syllable names that are almost the same and made up of mostly vowels + the letter K, all while trying to figure out which one is the street you need to turn down!
LOTS of smiles on that trip!My Brand-New Blog: http://homeingreece.wordpress.com
