getting back to it !!

past few months have been crazy here and when i am stressed or overwhelmed it makes it difficult to keep up with my frugal doings and although i shouldnt allow anyone to stop me - when someone is just hard to live with - so much you wont go down your basement when they are in family room because if they are upset about something - they will blame you - well you just avoid them lol

anyway - oldest dd 20 moved out - she is either my best friend or my worst enemy depending on her mood ( as you can see from statement made above ) - i think she mas been mad at me for something / anything or everything since the day i made her move out of my warm dark womb into that bright cold room right in the middle of her in uterine nap LOL She is in a cute little apt with a friend and when i saw it i was very impressed by how neat and organized she has everything - and how she had a wipe off boad wth the dates her bills are due on it ( cell- rent ) and things she wanted to buy and how much she would need to save for them .


This has allowed me to do many things i just avoided some that affected my ability to be frugal : but my main 2 ( not really related to frugality ) use my bathroom when i wanted woo hooo lol !!
re-do 14 yos room as all hers ( even though 20 yo had own room it was either too hot - too cold or haunted and we offered to move 14 yo to attic room she would say no- it was basically a closet for her stuff and she slept and left some stuff in younger dds room )

Sadly she started storing things on enclosed porch 2 week before move in date and ended up moving in a week later than expected so she had stuff all over my house - but because the end result was a positive thing for the family - i kept quiet about the clutter !

we have had dds play ( beauty and the beast )8th grade trip - graduation - and dressy dinner dance- kids sick with new allergy issues they never had -so my work was always being rearranged if the 10 yo was home sick
we had dance practices and dd'sfinal dance recital and have started with the cheer competition team for HS for 14 yo dd.

My job is going over to galaxy tablets in the field so i was going to night training sessions for that on top of working my regular schedule .
Had a few typical inlaw issues ;/
Needless to say my fibro had a few flares during it all.

A old friend died at the young age of 48 of cancer less then 3 months after being dx . We would see her and her dh in supermarket chat and say we need to get together and with kids and work etc it just never happened - so sad that other than FB we never got to see each other but at least we chatted a little on FB for a few months before this happened - they were the epitome of soul mates - madly in love even after almost 30 years

My 23 yos roommate and friend from his college house his last 2 years of college is 24 and has been dx with liver and spleen cancer - he found this out 2 days before our friend died.

Before all this some days it was a struggle to do what i wanted to frugal wise but i gave up a bit the past 2 months or so- didnt start spending money i didnt have but - didnt do as much as i could have frugal wise .

so trying to get back on track and hope to make it here to read more !

Sounds like you've been going through a lot. When your family is involved with worries it can be overwhelming. Hang in there--its gonna get better !
