median
Median income calculator per state and county/ parish what ever they call the small units in the state.
Tells you what the middle income is in that area.
It was interesting.

According to the chart, DH makes almost double the median income for where we live (Montgomery, AL).DD (19)

Hmmm -- I actually figured I would be higher than the median income for our county, but I'm right on it.

We are just at the median. And here I thought that we were doing pretty good...

Wow...the median income here is $83,600. I knew it was high, but not that high!! We're no where near that and are still doing better than most of our friends...craziness!!

Fascinating! We moved up here to Iowa from MO. I knew that the cost of living was higher up here, and I knew that there was more poverty up here. But I didn't realize that there was such a huge difference in median household income!! Honestly, I thought that probably the median income in our part of Iowa was much much lower than they listed. Thanks for posting.
